Welcome to Slies Collection! The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Slies Collection. Slies Collection operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). Slies Collection is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

The terms and conditions below, together with any policies referred to in them (these "Terms of Service" or "Terms"), describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.

By visiting, interacting with or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or the Privacy policy, you should not use or access our Services.

Section 1 - Access and account

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority where you live, and that you give us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use the Services on devices you own, purchase or manage.

To use the Services, including browsing our online store or buying any of our products, you may be asked to give us certain information, such as your email address, billing, payment and shipping details. You confirm that all the information you give us is correct, current and complete, and that you have all the rights needed to give it to us.

You are solely responsible for keeping your account details secure and for everything that happens in your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign or license your account to anyone else.

Section 2 - Our products

We have made every effort to show our products accurately in our online store. However, colours and product appearance may look different on your screen because of the device you use and its settings, and human hair varies naturally.

We do not promise that the appearance or quality of any product you buy will meet your expectations or be exactly as shown in our online store.

Product descriptions may change at any time without notice. We may stop selling any product at any time and may limit the quantity of any product we offer to any person, area or country, case by case.

Section 3 - Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. Slies Collection may accept or decline your order for any reason. Your order is not accepted until we confirm it, and we must receive and process your payment before your order is accepted. Please check your order carefully before you submit it, because we may not be able to cancel an order once it has been accepted. Many of our wigs are made on a pre-order basis. If we do not accept, change or cancel an order, we will try to let you know using the email address, billing address or phone number you gave us when you ordered.

Exchanges are handled only in line with our Refund policy. All sales are final and we do not offer refunds.

You confirm that your purchases are for your own personal or household use and not for resale or export.

Section 4 - Prices and payment

Prices are in South African rand (ZAR). Prices, discounts and promotions can change without notice. The price you pay is the price at the time you place your order, and it is shown in your order confirmation email. Delivery fees are added at checkout.

Prices in our online store may differ from prices offered by other sellers. From time to time we may offer promotions that have their own terms. If a promotion's terms and these Terms conflict, the promotion's terms apply.

You agree to give current, complete and accurate purchase, payment and account information for every purchase, and to update it promptly if it changes so that we can complete your orders and contact you when needed.

You confirm that (i) the payment details you give are true, correct and complete, (ii) you are allowed to use that payment method, (iii) the payment will be honoured by your bank or payment provider, and (iv) you will pay the charges at the prices shown, including delivery and any other fees that apply.

Section 5 - Shipping and delivery

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or pick-up points, or by events outside our control. Once we hand your order to the courier, ownership and the risk of loss passes to you. See our Shipping info for options, prices and timing.

Section 6 - Our content

Our Services, including all trademarks, brands, text, displays, images, graphics, reviews, video and audio, and the design, selection and arrangement of them, are owned by Slies Collection or its licensors and are protected by South African and international copyright and other intellectual property laws.

These Terms allow you to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not copy, share, change, create new works from, publicly display, republish, download, store or send any of the material on the Services without our written permission. Nothing in these Terms gives you any license or right to any trademark, copyright or other intellectual property of Slies Collection, Shopify or anyone else. All rights not clearly granted here are reserved.

The Slies Collection name, logo, product names, designs and slogans belong to Slies Collection and may not be used without our written permission. Shopify's name, logo and designs belong to Shopify. All other names and logos on the Services belong to their respective owners.

Section 7 - Optional tools

We may give you access to tools offered by other companies as part of the Services. We do not monitor or control them. You accept that these tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without any promise or endorsement, and we are not responsible for anything arising from your use of them. You use them at your own risk, and you should make sure you are happy with the terms of the company that provides them.

We may add new features to the Services in future, including new tools and resources. They will also form part of the Services and these Terms.

Section 8 - Links to other websites

The Services may contain links to websites run by other companies, including embedded features. We are not responsible for checking the content or accuracy of those materials or websites. If you leave the Services to visit them, you do so at your own risk.

We are not responsible for any harm or loss relating to your use of other websites or your purchase or use of anything from them. Please read their policies and make sure you understand them before you do business with them. Complaints or questions about products or services from other companies should be sent to them.

Section 9 - Our relationship with Shopify

Slies Collection is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with Slies Collection. By using the Services, you accept that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sale between you and Slies Collection, including any injury, damage or loss resulting from products and services you buy. You release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages and liabilities arising from your purchases and dealings with Slies Collection.

Section 10 - Privacy

All personal information we collect through the Services is covered by our Privacy policy, and some personal information may also be covered by Shopify's Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you confirm that you have read these privacy policies.

Because the Services are hosted by Shopify, Shopify collects and processes personal information about your use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit to the Services is sent to and shared with Shopify and other companies that may be in countries other than where you live. Our Privacy policy explains in more detail how we, Shopify and our partners use your personal information.

Section 11 - Feedback and reviews

If you send us any ideas, suggestions, feedback, reviews, photos or other content (together, "Feedback"), you give us a permanent, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, change, publish, share and display that Feedback in any medium and for any purpose, including on our website and social media, and for commercial use. For example, we may use it to run, improve and promote the Services.

You confirm that: (i) you own or have all the rights needed for your Feedback; (ii) you have told us about any payment or reward you received for it; and (iii) your Feedback follows these Terms. We do not have to keep your Feedback private, pay you for it or reply to it.

We may, but do not have to, check, edit or remove Feedback that we decide is unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable, or that breaks anyone's intellectual property rights or these Terms.

Your Feedback must not break anyone's rights, contain unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain a virus or other harmful code. You may not use a false email address, pretend to be someone else, or otherwise mislead us or others about where your Feedback comes from. You are solely responsible for your Feedback and its accuracy. We take no responsibility for Feedback posted by you or anyone else.

Section 12 - Errors, inaccuracies and omissions

Sometimes the Services may contain typing mistakes, inaccuracies or missing information about product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, delivery charges, delivery times and availability. We may correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and change or update information or cancel orders if any information is wrong, at any time and without notice, including after you have placed your order. If we cancel an order because of a mistake, we will refund you.

Section 13 - Prohibited uses

You may use the Services for lawful purposes only. You may not use them, directly or indirectly: (a) for any unlawful or harmful purpose; (b) to break any law or regulation; (c) to infringe our intellectual property rights or those of others; (d) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame or intimidate any of our team or anyone else; (e) to send false or misleading information; (f) to send, receive, upload, download or use any material that does not follow these Terms; (g) to send advertising or promotional material, including junk mail, chain letters or spam; (h) to pretend to be another person or business; or (i) in any other way that limits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Services, or that we decide may harm Slies Collection, Shopify or other users, or expose them to liability.

You also agree not to: (a) upload or send viruses or any other harmful code; (b) copy, sell, resell or exploit any part of the Services; (c) collect or track other people's personal information; (d) spam, phish, spider, crawl or scrape; or (e) interfere with or get around the security features of the Services or any related website. We may suspend, disable or end your account at any time, without notice, if we decide that you have broken any part of these Terms.

Section 14 - Ending access

We may end this agreement or your access to the Services (or any part of them) at any time without notice, and you remain responsible for all amounts due up to and including the date of ending.

These sections continue to apply after access ends: Our content, Feedback and reviews, Ending access, Disclaimer of warranties, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, Severability, Waiver and entire agreement, Assignment, Governing law, Privacy, and any other part that by its nature should continue.

Section 15 - Disclaimer of warranties

The information on or through the Services is provided for general information only. We do not promise that it is accurate, complete or useful, and any reliance you place on it is at your own risk. We are not responsible for any reliance placed on it by you or by anyone else who is told about its contents.

EXCEPT AS CLEARLY STATED BY SLIES COLLECTION, THE SERVICES AND ALL PRODUCTS OFFERED THROUGH THEM ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT ANY PROMISES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR FREE OF ERRORS. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS TAKES AWAY ANY RIGHTS YOU HAVE UNDER SOUTH AFRICAN CONSUMER LAW.

Section 16 - Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, SLIES COLLECTION, OUR PARTNERS, OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS AND LICENSORS, AND SHOPIFY AND ITS AFFILIATES, WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS, CLAIM, OR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST SAVINGS, LOSS OF DATA OR REPLACEMENT COSTS, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, DELICT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCT BOUGHT THROUGH THEM, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY MIGHT HAPPEN. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER SOUTH AFRICAN LAW.

Section 17 - Indemnification

You agree to protect and hold harmless Slies Collection, Shopify, and our partners, owners, employees, agents, contractors, licensors and service providers from any losses, damages, liabilities or claims, including reasonable legal fees, owed to any other person because of (1) your breach of these Terms or the documents they refer to, (2) your breaking any law or anyone's rights, or (3) your access to and use of the Services.

We will tell you about any such claim, but if we do not tell you promptly you are still responsible unless this seriously harms you. We may control the defence and settlement of the claim at your cost, but we will not settle any claim that requires you to do something other than pay money without your consent (which you will not unreasonably withhold). You will help with the defence, including by giving us relevant documents.

Section 18 - Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that part will still apply as far as the law allows, and the rest of these Terms stays in force.

Section 19 - Waiver and entire agreement

If we do not enforce a right or provision in these Terms, that does not mean we give it up.

These Terms and any policies or rules we post on this site make up the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the Services, and replace any earlier agreements, communications and proposals, spoken or written, including earlier versions of these Terms. Any unclear wording will not be read against the person who wrote it.

Section 20 - Assignment

You may not transfer or assign this agreement or any of your rights or duties under it without our written consent, and any attempt to do so is void. We may transfer, assign or delegate these Terms and our rights and duties without telling you or asking you.

Section 21 - Governing law

These Terms, and any separate agreement under which we provide you the Services, are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Headings in this agreement are for convenience only and do not limit or change these Terms.

Section 23 - Changes to these Terms

You can read the most current version of these Terms at any time on this page. We may update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting the changes on our website, and it is your responsibility to check this page from time to time. If the changes are material we will let you know as the law requires, and they take effect on the date given. Continuing to use the Services after changes are posted means you accept them.
